Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

Great Earrings!

I love these hoops They're super cute, classy, comfortable to wear, and don't irritate my sensitive ears! I prefer the smaller rooftop hoops a bit more because my ears are a little smaller. These are great for when I want them to stand out more!

I was a bit skeptical that these earrings would work for me because I have such sensitive skin; my body tends to reject what seems like any foreign object! However, these earrings exceeded my expectations. For a few weeks now, I have worn them nearly every single day (sometimes even overnight for a few days in a row) and my ear piercings have not been sore, red, or crusty (gross). These earrings are lightweight and comfortable, too, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. I will definitely be purchasing more jewelry from Tini Lux.

Hoop earrings

The earrings are a great everyday look. The earring is a little thicker than I would like for the hoop and the gold is a very dark color. I wish it was a lighter gold. They don’t irritate my ears, which is the most important thing to me.

Never received them.

I never received my order and it’s very hard to get a response from customer service. I have sent multiple emails and have only gotten one response asking to wait longer. I understand it’s a small company but I placed my order on the 31st of July it’s now August 20th.

Growing up I was allergic to EVERYTHING. Even so called Nickel-Free would make my ears red, itchy, weepy. I had my ears pierced as a baby and they closed in my 30’s. Once I found Tiny Lux - cute, stylish, affordable titanium, I decided to go ahead and get my ears pierced again. I have had zero issues. I wear them 24/7 and I have no trouble whatsoever.
