What grade titanium are your earrings made with?
All of our earrings are made with commercially pure medical grade titanium. This is equivalent to ASTM F-67 Titanium.
Titanium is an inert metal that is compatible with the body so people with metal allergies can wear our earrings comfortably.
We lab test our earrings to ensure their purity. The lab results are posted here.
How is Tini Lux different from other earrings?
What makes Tini Lux different from other "hypoallergenic earrings" and "nickel free" earrings is that we use pure, medical grade titanium as our base metal.
Less than 0.6% of people are allergic to pure titanium, making it the safest metal for the human body. Rather than just removing a metal like nickel, we have removed ALL metals except titanium. By eliminating all other metals, we have taken the guesswork out of finding earrings that are safe for sensitive ears.
We consider the label "hypoallergenic" for earrings to be similar to "organic" for foods. They are both essentially just marketing terms that are not very helpful, especially when you are dealing with allergies.
Rather than slapping on a label like "hypoallergenic" we are super transparent about the metal we use so that customers know exactly what they are putting into their piercings.
We lab test our earrings for purity and post the results here on our website.
Where should I start?
We highly recommend starting with a pair of studs if you have very sensitive ears, an active allergic reaction or your piercings are not fully healed. You may need to wear them for a few weeks or months before you can start wearing other earrings.
Heavier earrings may cause irritation unrelated to an allergic reaction when your piercings are not properly healed.
Can I purchase a single earring?
We have a few styles that are sold individually:

What are your International shipping options?
Most orders will leave our facility within 2-4 business days
Canada:

IMPORTANT: For international shipments, we cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. This applies to all international orders.
My package is lost or delayed. What do I do?
Occasionally packages are lost or delayed by the shipping carrier. If you notice that your tracking information has not updated in a few days, please notify us via email at info@tinilux.com. We are happy to help rectify the situation but we must be notified.
My package is missing. What should I do?
For instances when the tracking information says that the item is delivered but it was not delivered:
1) Contact your local USPS
2) Contact us at info@tinilux.com. We will submit a USPS search request. It typically takes 48-72 hours for an initial response
3) If the package has still not arrived and USPS cannot offer any more information we will re-send the package

What is your return policy?
For US customers, a prepaid return label will be generated by the online portal.
WARRANTY
We offer a one year manufacturing warranty on all of our items. If your purchase is damaged during shipping or breaks within 365 days due to a manufacturing problem we will replace it or offer a store credit.
Contact us at info@tinilux.com for a replacement. Please include the following information:
- Order number
- Item name
- Photo of item
Our warranty does not cover lost items. We are not responsible for lost items.
RETURN TO ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD
We accept returns of items in their original condition within 30 days of the delivery date.
There is a restocking fee of $10 on all returns refunded to the original payment method.
RESTOCKING FEE:
We are a small business. We rely on the restocking fee to cover the cost of return shipping fees and our warehouse handling costs.
The $10 restocking fee is waived for all Lux Loyalty members that have reached the Silver Tier or higher.
The restocking fee is also waived in situations where our products caused a reaction. If this is the case, please email info@tinilux.com after submitting your return.
STORE CREDIT
We accept returns for store credit of items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery date. For returns refunded to store credit, the restocking fee is waived.
EXCHANGES
We accept exchanges of items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery date. Exchanges are allowed for variants only (i.e. selecting a different color of the same product). We are working to increase the functionality of our exchange portal.
HOLIDAY RETURNS
Orders* placed between November 15 and December 25 are returnable until January 20 of the following calendar year.

RETURN ACCEPTANCE
Items must be sent back within 14 days of the return submission. If items have not been mailed back in that time period, the return will be automatically voided.
If returned items are damaged, scratched, or show other signs of wear the return will not be accepted and the items will be sent back to you.
Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the returned items
What about international returns?
For international returns, please alert us at info@tinilux.com that you would like to initiate a return within the 30 day window.
Return postage must be purchased at a local shipping carrier. We cannot create international return labels.

Do you offer exchanges?
At the moment, we are only able to offer variant exchanges through our return portal. We are working to increase the functionality to allow exchanges of all items.
We also allow customers to select store credit as their refund method and waive the restocking fee.

How do I heal my piercings?

How do I clean my earrings?
Disinfect your earrings by soaking a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol, then gently use the cotton swab to clean off the post, back, and back of stud. Avoid the areas of the earring that are plated in gold or rose gold so that the color does not wear away. Then, rinse the earring with water and dry completely with a clean cloth or paper towel.
