ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.
ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.
STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.
COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.
CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.
How We Styled This
Tested for Purity
We lab test our earrings to ensure they meet our purity standardslab results
I first ordered just 1 for my cartilage, after 2-3 days I had to remove it because the gauge was too large and very painful, ear remained red while jewelry was in. Also, this hoop spins on its own to the point I was frequently having to twist the studs out of the hole and facing outward. The studs being inside my piercing probably did not help the pain.
I ordered a 2nd hoop with hopes to keep them in my daughters ears since they didn't work for my cartilage. She would wake up screaming in pain from her earrings, I removed them and again the studs had spun into the piercing so her ear starting bleeding when the earring was removed. Also, the gauge was too large for ear lobes.
My last ditch effort for these earrings, I put them in my seconds on my lobes. Same story, gauge size is causing pain, redness, swelling, and slight discharge. I can't figure out a way to keep the studs from spinning inside the piercing as well.
I have the Date Night hoops and absolutely love them, wear them daily. I wish it was the same story for these. Obviously they work for so many, but unfortunately not for my family.
These are so cute but too small for my helix. :(
love this huggie! fits perfectly in my 2nd lobe piercing and gives zero irritation!! exactly what i was looking for :)
Fits perfectly and looks great! I have it both gold and silver.
Love the earrings as I can wear them without reacting to them!
