I got a message two weeks ago that there was a delay in delivery but have not heard back with an update.

The hoops make a big and bold statement for sure. As they came, the hoops sat very round and big on my earlobes; they stuck out perpendicularly from my earlobes like Mickey Mouse ears. I planned to return them straight away until I took a risk and gently pulled on and elongated them (I’m not at all suggesting you do this!) into more of an oval shape to see what that would do, and that helped tremendously. Doing so made the earrings sit more flat against my ears and head so they dangled more so rather than stick out. They show up nicely against my dark hair. The weight is relatively light for their size. Heavy earrings irritate my ears, but the weight of these have been fine. The movement of the earrings because of their size when I move may sometimes be noticeable, but it is not enough to pull on my lobes nor create irritation. Though, if your ears are already sensitive and sore the movement would probably further irritate them.
In summary, after I modified the shape I like them. I think I will probably wear them more than I think since they’re simple, can be worn casually or slightly dressed up… and I have not really been feeling them over the past few hours of wear.
The photos are of the hoops after I elongated them. I included a straight shot so you can see how much they stick out on me, which is significantly less than when they were round.

Hoops are light but feel flimsy

These are pretty earrings but I think a major let down, personally, is when expensive earrings are so heavy that they hurt your ears and start to stretch your piercings.
