Materials

ASTM F-67: Pure, unalloyed titanium. This is the safest metal for sensitive ears because it is the least likely to cause a reaction. We use this for almost all of our earrings.

ASTM F-136: Implant grade titanium. This is an biocompatible alloy containing aluminum, vanadium, and titanium. We use this for our flat back studs.

STAINLESS STEEL: We use this as a base metal for our bracelets and necklaces. We always use nickel free and lead free stainless steel. It is then plated with titanium nitride, a biocompatible material, to further protect sensitive skin.

COATING: Titanium nitride PVD is applied to our gold jewelry to give it an 18k gold color. Titanium nitride is a hypoallergenic material that is more durable and resistant to wear than gold plating.

CARE: Since the materials we use are non-tarnishing, our jewelry can be worn in the water and will not change color, rust, tarnish or turn green.

Beautiful but uncomfortable

I love the look and size of these hoops but they are unfortunately uncomfortable to wear compared to other earrings I’ve gotten from Tini Lux. I’m not sure if it’s the post shape (they are more square rather than rounded) or if the material is different but they sting a little when first putting them in and my ear feels sore after taking them out.

Gorgeous but am allergic :(

I purchased these earrings and I must say they are beautiful. I have issues with the majority of earrings that I buy and found this company and was so excited. My ears became extremely itchy after using for like 10 minutes. Not sure if the clamp is a different metal because it is a different color than the rest of the hoop. I tried to use again after that and same reaction. So disappointed because they weren't cheap.

These hoops are my absolute favorite hoops I’ve ever used. I get so many compliments every time I wear them.

Very cool design but not the comfiest

These are super cool earrings, a great statement piece even in the smaller size. The metal doesn't irritate (which is always the case with Tini Lux - never any irritation). The only issue is the post is wider than usual and it hurts to put them in and wear. I find myself wearing these less than I would like because of that. Please don't make posts like this again!
