New York Fashion Week's Most Wearable Street Style Outfits
— By Jacqueline Burke
New York Fashion Week has come and gone for another year. For us regular people, it doesn't mean much expect excessive fashion show spam from all the influencers we follow on Instagram. It does, however, give us a chance to get some serious street style inspiration for the upcoming season.
-
Vogue's fashion photographer Phil Oh is known for capturing the best street style photos every year at NYFW. He captures outfits from celebrities, fashion editors, influencers, models, and other seriously stylish people.

Sometimes the Fashion Week street style is outlandish and silly, and it is hard to picture anywhere that a normal person would actually wear those outfits. Those street styles outfits are fun to peruse, but they don't give much inspiration for day-to-day dressing for say the office or going out to dinner.
-
My favorite street style outfits are ones that look like I could actually wear them. Even if my version might be a little toned down, they are still helpful for picturing how to put together pieces that I mostly already own.

Here are my favorite wearable street style outfits from New York Fashion Week Spring 2020:
-
1. Jeans, white button down, camel coat and black boots - all closet staples.
-
2. Something leopard and something plaid - both in coordinating neutral tones
-
3. A midi dress with sneakers
-
4. White flats, and an almost monochrome top & pants combo
-
5. Head to toe to bag black and white
-
6. Stripes on stripes
-
7. Jeans, colorful heels, and a going out top
-
8. A pop of neon with a black and white outfit
-
9. 50 shades of pink
-
10. Plaid dress pants with a casual white t-shirt (my absolute favorite fashion week outfit this year)
-
11. A neutral midi skirt paired with simple black top and gold accessories
-
12. The creamsicle look featuring a shade of orange that is actually wearable
-
13. A more dressed up version of plaid dress pants and a white t-shirt
-
14. Black leather pants with a chunky sweater - the perfect mix of dressy and cozy (saving this for a winter holiday party look!)
